Hi Guys,
 I have a very typical question ..
1. I applied 485 on May27 , my EAD got approved on Nov9 and
my Advance parole got approved on Dec8. My Finger prints was finished
Nov 7.

But my company send me termination letter Oct9..
I got my last paycheck from my company Oct15..I work for a consultancy
company..They say that to avoid paying me when I am not in contract they
have issued me the letter...But still they are marketing me..

Now can I take a full time job offer from another company using my EAD..
Will my 485 be approved still...

since my 485 is past 180days..
Pls. suggest me ..

As far as I know, the answer is Yes. You can take up a job with another company using your EAD. You need to make sure that the
new job is in similar occupational category (this term is loosely
defined by the INS).

Actually my termination was issued oct9..So
its not even 180days over ..
But I have the paycheck issued from the company till Nov15..

Pls. do suggest me..

You should ask a lawyer but I think if you lose your job within 180 days ...

from the Notice date, you can still switch jobs as long as you have a valid EAD and your case is not adjudicated before 180-days from the notice date. In your case you may be fine as long as your I-485 in not adjudicated before 6 months from notice date. Again it may be better to ask your lawyer and look at some murthy.com previous chat sessions. This is an often asked question.
