Urgent 2FP question

Our 2FP notice was originally for 6/18 but it reached us yesterday.

Should we WRITE to CIS to re-Schedule our FP date
OR
Just show up at the FP center and try to talk to people there if they can take our 2nd FP .. today ?

any suggestion ?

FP notice is valid for up to 87 days from the scheduled date, you should be able to get your 2nd FP done today without any problems. My 2nd FP is scheduled for 28th July, I tried to do Early since I may be travelling at the time, they told me no need to re-schedule, it is valid up to 87 days and i can just show up at the ASC.

The office was CLOSED one day in advance.. to OBSERVE july 4th holiday.

Plan to go back on Wednesday.

Who told you this .. ? ASC people? Which location ? If true, that should help me a lot .. since I will be out of the country for a month ..

One of my friends gave FP1 over 30 days past the scheduled date using the same old notice(received notice late from lawyer + address change of candidate).

So I believe its valid for a period of time, don't know how long though.

we went there presented the "belated" letter and the officer said " nothing " just wrote on our letters " late mailed " and we did our fingerprinting.

i have learned from this forum .. people give 2nd FP .. even before the due date .. so why not after a few days
if you go to re-schedule .. man dont know when will you get the date ..
my advice / experience .. just go to the office and let them think and make decision.
