URGENT!!!! 140 RFE job duties and work expereince

My freind got a RFE for his 140. They are asking him to get experience letter from previous employers detailing job duties and work experience. He is trying to contact one of his previous employer in India. But, he is not able to contact them. He just has basic experience letter without skills mentioned.

Do you guys know, what would happen, if he is not able to get letter from one of the company. What is his best course of action. How much time does he have to reply? His company attorney not giving him the copy of the RFE.
 
If your friend knows someone from his previous company (supervisor preferable) who is currently working elsewhere, he can still obtain an experience letter.
 
I think your friend should write the letter on his working experience and asked the current leader or the previous leader of the company where he worked to sign and send back to your friend. I think it should be OK.
 
He should draft the letter himself and send it to the company HR or any other person he knew at the company that is higher up than him and willing to help him. Make sure it is not a colleague as the USCIS may deny it based on a colleague letter. Does he have any other previous employers that would supplement the required experience?
