As a permanent resident about to apply for naturalization and also to submit a i130 petition for a child.
Is it best to wait for citizenship to be approved then submit the i-130 petition ?
or
is best to submit the i130 and the naturalization application at the same time and then request an upgrade when the naturalization process is complete ?
I ask because the processing l time for an i130 for a Permanent resident filling for a spouse or child under 21 is almost 2 years. Therefore if they are submitted simultaneously the naturalization would most likely be completed much sooner than the i130.
So would the petition be upgraded even if it has not been approved ?
