updating information on rupnet

I noticed that people are asked to put their approval information in the rupnet. I believe that if you are not previously a member in the rupnet, it is not a good idea to sign up on rupnet at the time of approval.

People are using Rupnet as a rough estimate on how well the NSC is doing based on limited number of users on that website. If people only sign up at the time of approval, the rupnet approval rate would be artificially higher; that will make any prediction based on rupnet data even less reliable.

I Don't Agree

I think if you have data, then add it to Rupnet. The larger the sample size the more accurate the picture we have.

I don't agree too..

It wouldn't be artificially higher, as at any time one is also entering RD/ND/RFE history of the case not just approved date. And also we know rupnet is a small data sample of only employment based i485 cases. If as many employement I485 based cases can be entered, then a true picture and better prediction can be derived.

Don't agree with Zhang either. The data on rupnet are not too many but too few. How can you predict when there is no data?

Zhang, I do not agree with your opinion.
For a good statistics larger the data, better are the results. Eventhough CIS keeps changing its way of operation..., it is better to have data in the first place.
