Could any of you provide confirmation regarding the documents needed when requesting an iEAD at the District Office for EAD applications pending for over 90 days. I took a infopass appointment at the NYC office for 12th August 2004 and placed a call to the NSC center today to enquire about any updates that do not show up online. The lady told me that I am required to take the following documents to the NYC office (with an infopass appt.) and ask for a iEAD:
1. Two photo IDs, and
2. Copies of my notice of receipt for I-765.
I asked her if it is necessary to fill out another form, take photos, and make another payment, she said that I DO NOT require anything else other than the above-mentioned docs.
Could this possibly be true? Or did the lady simply not know of the procedures for iEAD?
