Updated Affidavit of Support Guidelines

I was wondering whether you guys know about the new Guideline regarding Affidavit of Support or not
(For some newbies: Affidavit of Support not to be confused with AOS=Adjustment of Status)

Here's a link
http://www.uscis.gov/graphics/publicaffairs/factsheets/AffSupp_062106FS.pdf

Here's just one example of what's new:

Each sponsor is now required to submit as initial evidence only his or her single most recent tax return rather than tax returns from the three most recent federal tax returns, pay stub(s) covering the most recent six months, and an employer letter.

They also updated the forms after this guideline was created. The new forms follow these guidelines. Some of us were caught between the guideline update and the form update. Be interesting to see what happens if we followed the new guidelines, but used the old forms.

Yeah, and even if you submitted your application before July 20th, but your interview is after that, you are supposed to fill out a new I-864, if applicable.
That's what I was told and we prepared a new form. But the interviewer didn't ask for it, nor did he want to see all those paystubs.
I would still recommend to provide a new form, just in case.
