Update time of Status Message

Would anyone know whether there is one specific time of day that the online status check updates? Or does it do so continuously during the day whena case is worked on???

In my case I have always found it happening late in the afternoon, though I have no data to confirm this. So my "guess" is that it could be some sort of a batch processing that is run each day.

I have to do something to make me stop clicking to check 2 or 3 times a day!!! I am addicted!!!

I heard that the message gets updated around 3:00 PM EST
