Update Time of Online Status

Any idea during what time of day does the status get updated meaning changed.

If they are working on a case and approve is the effect of status real time or does the status get updated in a batch and change at night ?

I think, it is updated in real time! maybe Iam wrong.

I vaguely remember checking my EAD approval status in the morning of 27th and found it in the same old status, but in the evening I found it approved.
so.. this makes me feel it is updated in realtime..
or it could be.. they have it approved the previous day and passed the info. to IT(whoever handles the website info.) and they have a batch job run to update!

I remember my I-140 approval was also updated sometime during the day because I checked in the morning, it was not approved then I checked in the evening it was approved.

Also I don't remember seeing any new threads for approved during night or late evening, all the approvals I see are posted sometime in the day.

This is a guess, so keep checking ;) , that's what I have been doing these days since I sent my EAD for renewal and in the last two weeks I saw 2-3 approvals where people mailed their EAD renewals and got 485 approved.
 
There is no point checking the status.

This whole thing sucks.......

First we were expecting 485 approval in 9 months, never thought of applying 2nd EAD.

Then applied 2nd EAD

Then 2nd FP

Then 3rd EAD

Then iEAD

Who knows what is next.........

Sucks.......a big time.
 
According to the approval posted by MrMr just now, it hints that approvals are updated real time, his comments say that he checked the status in the night nothing changed but when he checked in the day today it says approved.

Feb2002Case don't loose hope you might be next. USCIS is running on the destiny theory so "You won't get before your time arrives and you won't get more than your destiny has in store for you".

Be Patient, I know it's easier said than done
 
Dont want to sound like an ass but

MRMR checked at night (what time, he only knows) and message was different in AM. Just the point i am trying to resolve.

I had the same doubt last year, did an extensive search and finally in the INS (it was called so then) website found that the case status is updated real-time. But I do have doubts on that as we have seen many posts in the forum were their status were not updated, inspite of developments in their cases.

checked my EAD status at 11.00AM today and there was no change.. checked again at 12.30PM ... BOOM it was approved..

my conclusion is that ::: this process is somehow real time data - - not even stage - production migration.. or uploading some database info to some other server.

Just verifying dashdurai's response. I checked for my AP # 1 this morning no change. When i checked at 3.30pm, its been approved. Guys at USCIS have no fixed time frame to update our information.
