My case details:
Labor Filed (EB2): October 2003 (non-RIR)
Labor Approved: January 2004
I-140 Filed: April 2004
I-140 RFE: August 2004
I-140 Approved: November 2004
I-485 Filed: August 2004
Fingerprinting Scheduled: February 2005
(Postponed to April 2005)
Fingerprinting Done: April 16th, 2005
LUDs: 04/25, 04/26
I-485 Approved: June 3rd, 2005
Card Ordered: June 3rd, 2005
Card Mailed: June 7th, 2005
Card Received: June 9th, 2005
While I haven't received the I-485 approval notice, can I use the plastic card itself to get my passport stamped? Why do I want to get it stamped? I have a lot of upcoming international travel - should be in and out of the US for the rest of the year, thanks to some "emergency project"
I'm afraid I might misplace the plastic card and want something as a backup...
On a related note, what is the procedure to get a replacement card while abroad?
Thanks for your suggestions.
