Mahavir Jayanti thankfully falls on Saturday April 16.
Doesn't change anything because Saturday = Off

i think they might take a long weekend from April -8th to Aprill 13th....hope some work will be done after Wednesday.....
i doubt of any staus change today ....

It seems that Ambedkar jayanti is not on the Central Government Holiday list - Not as a Gazetted or as a Restricted (Floater).

However, I do know that the State Government offices like Delhi Govt and Maharashtra Govt are closed.

I noticed the alert on the Embassy website. Hopefully, GOI will operate per Department of Personnel published list.

Confusion Solved.

Looked at the Govt. Of India list again.

April 14 is a Restricted Holiday because of Vaisakhi / Vishu/ Mesadi. If these 3 events are not strong enough excuse to declare a holiday, Ambedkar Jayanti is the backup excuse.

So, 11 and 14 April are both holidays.
