Hi -
My interview is set up for next week & I have a few questions to ask those who may be able to answer them.
I filed my package a few months ago using the paid help of a paralegal, but that's all it was - just for that purpose.
Now that I've been approved for that 1st interview, I need your help for some more clarification.
1) The NOA letter did not mention that my Petitioner (USC parent) "(who) should come with you?" unless the parent/child relationship is that of a minor child (I'm over 21+ yrs old). Currently, this Petitioner isn't nearby (working in another State), but can travel here if he absolutely must be present for this interview along w/ me. I've called the 800# & asked about this, but all the rep said was to go by what the letter says
Question: I know it is better/safe to have my Petitioner come along, but would it be okay to attend by myself or am I not reading this correctly?
2) The issue of Original/Copy of those supporting documents that were submitted w/ my application... I only have some of the actual original ones as others were emailed/faxed over from my out-of-State Petitioner.
Question: If I bring everything & some of them are only copies (same as what was included in the packaged sent to USCIS earlier), will I be in trouble for not having all Originals??
Thanks
