I address the audience, the moderator and the administrator.

I observe a general decline in the messages on this newsgroup (I am not sure about the others, such as 485-VSC and so forth). I think it has to do with the address for the newsgroup on the WWW. To be fair, INS approvals will have a lot to do with this. But recently I tried to get to this page without my bookmarks (I logged in from another computer). I noticed that I had to go thru three other pages before I could get to this one. Unless people use search engines to get to this page directly, the visibility is less than before.

You are absolutely right

I know atleast 2 or 3 of my friends said the same thing.
Look at the number of times I had to move my mouse and click.
New Forums and Chat updated

The more painful issue is after entering I-485 CSC, you have to click the Thread starter name and then on the subject matter. Many a times different thread starters have the same issue.

Boy you need lot of patience.

PCEE can you do you something to avoid this painful journey.

Yes, this site does not conform to good usuability rules. I think this is a third party software because I have seen exactly same software elsewhere.

But, you can't complain, its free. They also don't seem to make money through pop-ups (I would hate them more)

Once user gets to "I-485 California" page I didn't quite understand why some one has to click on thread starter's name! One can directly click on "Thread" subject line and get to that thread directly. One thing I like in this new system is I don't need to look at all the messages rather, I can click on the page or most recent posts "->" button next to "LastPost" column to see most recent posts, when there are too many posts to that thread.

By the way I do agree that compared to old web site it is a bit difficult to get to this I-485 California page in this new system. I already provided direct links to get to this page if you come from any of summary pages site! Once you go to any of the following sites:

http://pceegcee.tripod.com

click on "I-485-CSC" block in the first line which will take you directly to "485 Issues in California Service Center". Or some one could just make a bookmark this page in their browser.

Let me know if I need to do any thing more...
