Unpaid vacation

Hi,

I am here on an H1 visa. Is it allowed to take an unpaid vacation while in H1 status?

I would like to take a 1-2 month vacation but i don't have vacation days for this. my employer is okay with me taking an unpaid vacation but i don't know if the visa allows for it.

Its allowed, not an issue as long as you do not need the payment stubs.
