I have an UNPAID internship opportunity with a company in Washington DC, but I am currently in Alabama going to school as an undergrad under and F1 visa.
My school will not fill out a CPT for me because it is too far away from the school and I will not be able to take classes at the university.
Can I just go and take the summer off from school and carry out the internship in the Summer of 2010? It is UNPAID so there is no compensation thus it would not technically be a form of employment.
This is a very rare opportunity that I have tried to get for a long time now and I dont want to miss it.
I already talked to the International advisor and they will not grant me a CPT
