Recently I received a packet from my employer with:
My H1 I-797A Approval Notice (Petitioner my Employer)
My wife's H4 Approval Notice (Petitioner my wife herself), and
Approval notice for an UNKNOWN 15 year old dependent (Petitioner my wife)
The visa application was apparently filed directly by the immigration department of my company (a big IT company). When I contacted the concerned person, he refuses to talk about anything but say that return the I 797 and he will take care of it.
I am concerned that probably by mistake(?) they have included someone else's dependent in my application. At the least now, somewhere this 15 year old is showing as my son. I would like to know if I should just let my company immigration department handle this or contact USCIS directly, or may be even a lawyer. May be I am over reacting but I just don't these people to create a further mess out of my record with USCIS.
Any advice is welcome.
