I applied 140 in July 2003 using labor substitution, but was not confident to have it approved on pre-approved labor. So as a backup my company filed new labor for me in Oct. 2003.

Fortunately my 140 got approved in September 2004. PD on 140 is 1997 (labor PD).

My question is:
If Labor applied for me in 2003 gets approved, can it affect the priority date on my approved 140. Should I ask my company to revoke the Labor filed on my behalf or it doesn't matter.

Can my company change the beneficiary on this labor application? Myself and company both based in New Jersey.

dont worry!
Another lobor can be use for someone else once its approved. It has no affect on you current GC process using a substitute labor...
 
your comapny can use the new lab petition to substitute another employee or u can use it later if u for some reason run into a problem with the current application.
