Hope you can give me your opinion on what to do on my case.

My 485 was approved on 8/24 and I got the notice in mail on 8/30 BUT my 140 is still pending online and I didnt receive notice in mail as well!

Have you ever heard of this situation before? My case got transferred from CSC to TSC on 3/30. My lawyer told me to wait for physical card first but as of today, I still didnt get my card. I filed my case concurrently, is it possible that they approve both 140 and 485 at the same time cuz of concurrent filing?? i know without 140 approval, no way they will approve 485. Is it true?? Let me know if you have any experience about this. Should i call them to find out my 140 or just like my lawyer said wait for my card? Your earliest reply will be really appreciated!

How does infopass different?

There was an issue last year where California service center sent welcome letters on 485 approvals by mistake. There were a few people on the boards who got this letter. However, uscis notified that this was sent in error.

Therefore, it was a systemic error which happened to a lot of people. I have not seen this issue since. Yes, 140 has to get approved for the 485 to get approved. On-line case status is usually pretty accurate but I have seen some cases from California which were transferred to Texas but online wasn't updated for approval even though they received the approval notice.

You might want to take an infopass appointment and ask them.

Thank you so much for your prompty reply I will wait til 9/24 before taking any action so it's more than 30 days so I can call USCIS 800 number again.
I have 2 more questions:
1.How does infopass from the 800 customer serivce? Shouldnt my lawyer take action contact them for me?? or i should do it myself?

2.Is it more important to get approval notice in mail? My lawyer said they can revoke my GC in 5 years time frame. oh one more thing, you said "systemic error" if it is the error, normally how soon they will notify people that's an error? like a month? or 2?
