I’m in a UNIQUE situation. I came to my home country for Revalidation in the month of October 2003. I was asked to wait for a while till I get the “Security Clearance” from Washington DC. The Consulate took the Visa Issuance fee of $50 from me though. 8 months passed. My Visa had expired on the 13th of June 2004. Now right after 10 days of my Visa expiration date, I ‘ve received a call from the US consulate since the necessary “Clearance” that they were waiting for has come from DC.
What will happen to my case now? They are calling me but I don’t know if I will get the stamp, cuz my Visa has already expired. Will they ask me to get it renewed? Will they renew it? My company is ready to renew. Any idea how much time it takes to renew an H1 Visa. Any information on this will be help.
