Unique situation for H status

Folks,
My wife is currently in H4 status and will be automatically converted to H1B this october 2007(due to the recent H1B approval).I am filing for a EAD,AP,485 for her this June.If I had predicted the June visa bulletin I wouldnt have applied H1 for her in april 2007.Since her status changes to H1 in october will there be any problem in getting her EAD/AP/485 approved(her status on all these application will be mentioned ad H4 since we are applying in June)

Question : when will the H4 expire?

I don't see an issue in your case, File using H4 as current status. As the date of filing 485 is accounted, later will not the counted.
