I got my NIW approved, Employer being the petitioner. After a month of I-485 filling, the company closed its operation, and I switched to a new job, with a new H-1. I did my FP on 5/30/01, and waiting.
Question, Will it have an affect on my adjucation.
I will appreciate replies from all the souls out there.
Tx and regards

Sam,
Use the "Search" feature for "Local interview for NIW case!". Someone else also had a similar question.

Good Luck!!

I was in a similar situation and got the green card.
My I-140 was approved and then the employer shut down operations. Also, this employer informed the INS that I was no longer with them. Consequently, my I-140 which was approved became null and void. I had to reapply for a self petitioned NIW. This time the INS asked for a bunch of information that they did not ask for on the prior application. After sending an information package that was about 15 inches thick, the INS approved the application. So, the story ended well with my I-140 NIW self approved application. The whole process mentioned here took about 3 years.

If you have questions, send me an email to newyorker26@hotmail.com and mention INS in the subject of the email.
