hey,
i am on H1-B and have a permanent job. I am sick and my company has asked me to go on short term disability.
is this a good idea, can i go on ST DISABLITY, will this in any way affect my future green card processings and will i get paid for the ST DISABLITY from the government(they are deducted from my check every month though).
please advice.
