For EAD : 2 days ago I got email i.e;

On October 6, 2004, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card.
Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

TODAY got this MSG ;

This case has been approved. On October 12, 2004, an approval notice was mailed.
If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to...................

Any possible Guess ?
 
Nothing Unique about the message change

Thats the usual message and there is nothing unique about that message.

First they approve your EAD and order a EAD card for you, and then when they receive the card they mail it to you.

Thats what happened.... on Oct 6, they approved your EAD and ordered a card. Then on Oct 12, they received your card and mailed it to you.

Is this for 485, not EAD?

Answer: If this message is for your 485 case, then the message said, "you are approved!!" so you are approved. Congratulations if it is your for 485 case! :)

First message that you mentioned is for EAD.. you will receive an EAD card. Just ignore EAD card because your 485 case is approved, but bring all your EADs (old EAD and new EADs), AP, your approved notice, your passport, your photos, and other documents if available with you for stamping.

I got the same sequence of messges for EAD and on the exact same dates as you also! I think it is normal.
 
Usually, the message updates (and you receive emails) about the status change a couple of days after the status actually changes. So, it is possible that the cards have been earlier but the msg got updated yesterday.
Nothing to worry about, think about or miracle about this whole thing. When this happens to 485, lets celebrate :D
 
Congratulations on getting your EADs. You have nothing to worry about it. It is just common. yeah, I wish it was for your 485. Hope you will be approved soon.
