Unfair Processing Time Advantage?

Folks,

Does anyone know why the CSC is processing cases this fast whereas other service centers like NSC for instance are languishing in I-485 processing dates as far back as Aug 31, 2002??

It is an unfair and detrimental for our fellow applicants in non-CSC centers...many of them have been waiting for ages now and everytime there is JIT update, NSC I-140 or I-485 just does not move....

As everyone realizes, loss of job or any detrimental re-org can severely jeopardize the processing (AC21 notwithstanding)...

To all the non-CSC processing guys....good luck...we are praying for your day to come..

Welcome to the world of Immigration to America.
There is no answer to all that. I know once RSK asked for the same with TSC.
Now it is NSC turn to be slower than others. Not only they[CSC] are faster, but also they have used up some of the visa numbers in their so called pilot project on concurrent approval. Now people like me are waiting for the PD to move and it is not moving fwd no more than a month or two. Looks like it has moved to Apr 1, 2002 from Mar 1 2002.

Anyway hopefully, some people at USCIS understands these and makes it all even for everybody. Which I seriously doubt anybody would be interested in doing such things.

The real answer is they did the pilot processing for concurrent approval thats what made them ahead of other service centers.

I believe US immigration system is always operating in an unfair way for a longtime now.

Good luck to all.

I filed at CSC and my 140 stalled for 1 year. It's all a matter of timing. I had friends who filed 3 months earlier than I did and got approved in 1 month.

Labor Process in California, Washington etc is definitely a major pain in the butt...I grant that totally....but the sheer volume of people in the whole labor certification pipeline who have unfortunately also called California their home (the so-called weather in my opinion is hugely over-rated) is so huge that I think for every 100 people who are stuck, there are 100 who get past the labor stage as well...it is really a zero sum game...meaning, there will never be any relief from the labor processing(unless PERM revoultionizes the whole thing)
