I got GC last month. I don’t have job right now. But my company is not paying bench salary .They are not supporting even family Medical. So can i go for Unemployment benefit and apply now.
Is it any effect to my GC?

also not paying bench salary and no medical insurance help. absolutely nothing on the road.
The Dept may ask you as why your company is not paying when they offered a permanent job for you and in just two months they ditched you. Talk to Attorney. It is better you wait atleast 6 months before you claim any.
