Unemployment Benefits for Card Holder without problems?

Folks:

I have a green card from my employer, but do not have a job at this point. I want to get the citizenship, but also claim for my unemployment benefits. The law has been changed in 96 about public benefits claiming. Question is:

Can I claim unemployment benefits without future problems in my citizenship?

Look at N400 application for naturalization (www.immihelp.com under fileable forms).
If I remember correctly, there was no provision about unemployment benefits. There is employment history question.
