Unemployment and petition to remove conditions on residence

Does anyone know what effect can unemployment have on petition to remove conditions of residence for a woman who has to do it alone because she has separated from her husband on domestic violence and child neglect reasons? This woman was employed for seven months but fi\or past two months she has not had any work and she needs to file I-751, the petition to remove conditions. Please let us know. Thanks.

I-751 Delays @ Nebraska Service Center

We filed jointly form I-751 (Pettion to
Remove Condition on Permanent Residence) for my wife back in early August 2002. Then INS (now BCIS) sent us a reciept with in a week. However, as of today, we haven't heard anything from the Immigration Service. Its' little over seven months now. The unofficial processing time reported by American Immigration Lawyers Association showing Nebraska's backlog for I-751 processing is growing trmendously. Its seems to me that INS has stopped processing I-751. Instead of going forward the date of processing went backward and remain stalled for last couple of months. I am wondering, if anyone has any latest news concering I-751 processing delays at Nebraska Service Center? I am also wondering. if you guys are experiencing similar delays with I-751 processing. I will appreciate your input.
