Hello guys, we haven't reached this stage in the (I-130) process as yet, but I'm just curious. I'm a full time law student and the Bar in the state where I reside in, doesn't allow 1st year law students to work, so last year I did not work whatsoever. Prior to attending law school I was working full time for the past 6 years. My current "income" is basically student loans. I know I may need a co-sponsor, but what problems will I face when we get to this stage in the process? Would I need a letter from the law school certifying why I wasn't employed last year? Should I get 2 co-sponsors? What's going to happen? I'm worried.

I read the instructions and I understand about the whole co-sponsor thing, but I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience and if they personally were scrutinized even though they had a co-sponsor. Asking a professor, was the next step, I just wanted to hear about personal experiences first.
