I am currently unemployed and have a citizenship interview coming up. Do I need a financial sponsor? Is there a financial sponsorship form to fill out that I can ask someone to do for me? What is the name of the form/s?
Will I have problems in the citizenship interview due to this?
I appreciate your responses.

No, no problem with that. The IO might ask you how you support yourself to make sure you are not into financing your life through crime, but there is no request for financial sponsor during naturalization.

Thanks huracan. I am in a much worse situation now. I have a on the job injury actually and the workers compensation insurance company keeps on denying me medical care causing my injury to become prolonged. I had a part time job from which I am absent due to medical disability for more then a year. The time passed due to insurance company playing games and denying medical care and trying to make me go away in despair. I am planning to leave this part time job in the near future but that could be just after the interview or before it. For all practical purposes, I see myself right now as unemployed. Not working is same to me as being absent from the job due to chronic injury. Do you think all this could also cause me problems in the interview?
From medical purposes I had been disabled all that time that was certified by the doctors. I am still disabled with a chronic injury. Will that be a problem during the interview?
In the N-400 form - on the line asking whether you are disabled - I did not say I was medically disabled which I was since I just couldn't see/imagine myself disabled in my mind. May be I am in denial and hoping somehow, someway I will regain my health. To me being disabled is dreadful dreadful thought. But it has been a harsh/bitter/surreal reality and most of it due to workers compensation company denying me treatments that were requested by their doctors.
My relatives have been supporting me during all this time.
Do I need to ask them to write a note/letter to that effect?
I appreciate your help.

Sorry to hear about all the problems you are having with your help and with getting the medical care you need to get better. At least you should have peace of mind that all this doesn't affect your naturalization and that you should be fine during the interview.

Good luck with your interview and with your health isssues too.

Employment is not a prerequisite for naturalization. I don't foresee any problems with that part of your application.

Sorry to hear about your troubles with workers compensation. I had a work related fall last year (broke my back and foot), but luckily the insurance company was very accommodating. Keep hassling them, and if all else fails, consult a personal injury lawyer - they love that kind of thing!

Just say you are living using savings and that is it.
If you say that, you should be prepared to back up that with bank statements or other evidence of having such savings.

All the poster has to say is exactly what happened -- got a serious on-the-job injury and relatives are providing the financial support.
