I've been unemployed for over a year. I do not collect unemployment nor get government assistance. I live with parents, both of whom are naturalized citizens and who receive food stamps. I am about to apply for naturalization. Under these conditions, can I request a waiver for the naturalization fee? Or would the waiver only be given to me if I personally were the one getting food stamps/government assistance?
