Hello All,
Under what category does a ticket issued to me for not having renewed car insurance card fall?
Both were not while driving.
One was when I bulled to the side parking, police were conducting some check in the neighborhood , they came to me asked for my driving license, registration and insurance card , I presented all , unfortunately I forgot to put the new insurance card in the car.
The other one was on an accident, police came and asked for all documents, and again I did not put the new card yet.
On both instances, I mailed in the renewed card and got dismissed, I have the dismissal letter.
What category does this falls in:-
1) Moving violation need to be reported.
2) Traffic violation does not need to be reported.
