I hope you can give some advice with this matter. I'm trying to find the best way my parents can apply for their B2 visas
I'm under my OPT which expired January 2008 (I have F-1). I got married to a US Resident a year ago. My husband applied for his citizenship and his interview will be held on October 24th 2007. We are planning to apply for my permanent residence as soon as he becomes US citizen. Hopefully before my legal status expires.
I would like my parents come from Peru to visit me and help me for three weeks when my baby will be born in December 1st 2007.
They are going to apply for B2 visa in Peru.
I'm concerned about my legal status will affect their B2 approval.
1. When they say they will come to visit their daughter who is F-1 and married to US resident and also pregnant,
2. do you think the consul will probably deny their visas?.
3. Should they explained I will apply for permanent residence in November?
Is my situation not well seen for the consul?...
4. When the consul asked them for me, is it ok they say about my opt, F-1. future permanent residence, etc?
