Under additional review

I placed a SR in 11/2007. I didn't hear anything so I called USCIS for my I-485 case yesterday. A nice lady read the reply of my SR to me, "your case is under additional review. Please contact us in 6 months". She said she couldn't place another SR for me before 6 months from 11/2007.

I am EB2, RD 7/2004. Stuck in name check for 3.5 years....and still pending. Now stuck in "additional review".

Anything I can do other than wait? It seems WOM is the only option.

Were you ever told before opening the SR that your case was under review? at an InfoPass or over the phone?
