As I\'m seeing a ton of applicants with dates well after mine (I\'m EB1 with ND of 1/31/01 - India) being approved, and VSC hasn\'t even assigned my application to anyone as yet, I contacted my Senator\'s office last week for their intervention. They promptly contacted the INS, and got back to me earlier today.
Turns out that they\'re being told that the INS is currently only processing 10/15/99 cases.
I promptly called back my senator\'s office and informed them that the official VSC claim is that they are now processing March 2000 applicants and that dozens of people on these boards with dates past mine have gotten their approvals. The guy just couldn\'t believe it.
Anyways, he suggested that if I could get my hands on any EAC numbers from Feb or March 2000 of folks that were approved, he could go after the INS.
However, sadly, I don\'t know anyone with Feb/March approvals I can ask for EAC numbers.
Anyone has any suggestions? Maybe someone who lives in Northern NJ can get such numbers and we can work together?
