Imagine I already filed my I-140+I-485 on Feb 2005. I am from South America.
If EB3 visa numbers become unavailable soon, is that going to delay or impact my greencard processing date ?

I dont think there is any IF, its almost all certain that the visa number will retrogress no matter what for the worldwide catagory. It will obivously delay the processing, also for those who applied their 485 won't get processed. Once your 140 gets approved, you have fate of waiting 180 days and switch to new employer. sucks but true.

For concurrent applicants ....
In a way Visa number --- and impact.. I think it is not a big scale catastrophe.

If one gets 140 approved -- I guess one must relax 95% of the GC tension..

U get EAD to work with ... and ablity to change jobs...

So relax and work in EAD or if $ rich .. keep the H1b extending.

Good luck

as per website CIS is currently using 30K visas per month approving EB3..@ this rate what is left for other service centers...and PD effected..cases..EB3 cases will be in doom..
