Hello,
I received an email from USCIS stating that
"On December 13, 2006, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service."
We are plannning to go abroad on end of this month and trying to setup the Infopass. My town falls under Dallas INS juridiction. The infopass website is saying "At this time, there are no information appointments available for the office in your area. Please try back again later. "
Here are the questions -
1. Can I go directly to Dallas without appointment?
2. Houston has some appointments open, can I go to Houston even if my zip code falls under Dallas jusrisdiction?
3. I haven't received any letter yet, any body got the same status email.
Here are my time lines -
Indian National (EB2 Category)
Labor priority date: 09/11/2000
Labor approved: 03/05/2001
I140 and I485 applied: 01/04/2005
I140 approved: 01/28/2005
I1485 approved email: 12/13/2006
Still waiting to receive the approval letter
