UK transit visa

Hi,
I am a Canadian PR landed in 2001 and already got my PR card
Planning to travel to India in next month.My flight is via Heathro,UK and stopover will be for couple of hours.I am an Indian citizen ..per new UK Transit visa rule implemented after Oct 2003 do I need a UK transit visa even I possess a Canadian PR card?
Will appreciate your feedback

If you are not going out of the airport then why would you need UK visa?

If you have a PR card you do NOT need a transit Visa for UK
