Is the U-sticker absolutely needed for travel in addition to the OCI certificate/docs ?
Since passports expire and and OCI does not, sooner or later it's going to become a big hassel to carry 2 passports - an expired one with the U-sticker and a current one. Worse still, if you are a family of 4 travelling it would mean that youd have to carry 8 (EIGHT!) passports! Doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
If OCI is an "Indian GC", then why not they make it look like a GC and issue a card, or even like a PIO card?
