U.s Police Certificate

Hello to all

I will appriciate your view

I am DV 2008 winner from Europe . My interwiev hopefully will take place on dec . I have many things already done like diploma , financial supportive doc's etc.
Only thing though concern me is that I used to study in states 20 yrs back .
I had taken ESL classes in college for less than 2 yrs .Later I moved back to my homecountry and began to work in a big U.S company and fortunately still am .

I am already in search of my old friends in states for the future .But I could not be in touch with anyone yet couse they likely to move different adresses

Anyhow can anybody tell me that during my interview could they possibly ask me a police check from U.S for that 2 years in states .

What if I cannot have it then ?will they postpone my visa or I hope not reject it at all.?

What could be happen ?

Police Certificates
Police certificates are required for each visa applicant aged 16 years or older. The following information illustrates how many police certificates are required based on where each applicant lives and has lived previously. Present and former residents of the United States should NOT obtain any police certificates covering their residence in the united states
