In the past, while working in a local store, my spouse accidentally sold alcohol to a minor. This was booked by the police. Pleaded guilty to the court clerk and paid a fine. The driving license was suspended for few weeks. Got back the driving license after few weeks. This information was declared to INS during PR process but it didnot affect the Green Card in any way.

Would the same information affect Citizenship in any way.

It could, but chances are it might not. Make sure you have clear and adequate documentation on the case, and how it was resolved.
