Typographical error in my I485 Receipt Notice and FP Notice:

In my I485 and FP notices from Vermont has an extra middle initial in my middle-initial does any one of you have gone through any thing like this.
And If you are what is the work procedure.
When I talked to my Lawyer he said that I would have a final change after the approval to correct the name.
I am not happy with the feedback.
I would appreciate your input.
