Two way ticket is Mandatory on B2 Visa ???

Hi,

I know this is not the related thread to post this Q ? But please.....

My parents got the Visa (B2) and planning to travel in next month.
I have a question that should we take two way ticket if the person is coming on Business (Tourist) Visa.

Problem is, after couple of months I don't know where my project will be. If I am at different place at the time of my parents leaving US then it would be a problem for me.

So I am planning to take one way ticket ? What would you guys suggest ?
Any issues at POE ?

What I heard from travel agent is
Yes they will Definetly see the Return ticket at the POE else they will deport.

So I asked him a work around because I was hoping that my Mother in law might wait more than six months and Air India 's tix are valid max to six months.
Travel agent's suggestion. Buy one way ticket from India at whatever best deal you get. Buy a full Fare one way ticket (which can be refunded) from US to India. Send both to person travelling. They will show the return ticket at POE. after coming here just return the ticket. Note that only some class of Air tickets are refundable and usually they are very expensive. Ask you travel agent you should give more info.
