Hi,

I hold a B1 Visa valid for 10 years.

I intend to take up an MBA program in the US, coming Jan-07.I have resonable score for my TOEFL and also GMAT, and also hold a I-20.I am due for F1-VISA interview this Dec.

I would like to know:
1. Am I eligible to go for F1, student VISA.

2. If my B1 visa will get cancelled on account of the F1.

3. How dependent will my F1-VISA interview be on my B1.

Thanks for the info provided.
I have my F1 Stampped last week.
But my B1 is not cancelled on my Passport.
When I enquired at the Embassy, I was told that it purely depends on the Consulate. So I think I am lucky :)

-- Even though it is not cancelled, you can be on only One status at a time. Most probably, the visitor's visa will be cancelled at the POE...
