I got laid off from my company four months back. Now I have got an offer for fulltime position. The new company guys are sponsoring my H1-B. But since there is four month "hole" in my pay stubs, I am not sure my visa will be transferred without problems.
I was thinking of simultaneously applying for a second H1 through a consultant, just in case. Can I do that? Can I have two simultaneous H1-B's in process? Will it be useful?
