Two Jobs on EAD

Can I take another part-time job apart from the regular full-time job in the same area (Software Engineer) on EAD?

Should I have only one employer or can I have two employers?

If I take part-time job, should I have only pay-slip after combining
two earnings in to one from single employer? Can I have two pay-slips?

If any one worked on two jobs at the same time, could you please post your advice.

Thanks.

I don't think you can do that,

specially software engineer. Most of the companies has some kind of agreement stating you are not allowed to work full/part time with any other company. I may be wrong, but check your full time employee agreement before accepting/working part time job.

Sreenivasa's right.. legally you can, but you need to verify if you're breaking any contractual obligations.

If you do take a second job, you don't need a combined pay-slip.
When you file your taxes, a W2 from the second employer's all you need.

Disclaimer - I haven't had a second job .. yet.. but may need one pretty soon..

There is no contractual obligations..

My current regular job will be over in 6 weeks. So I have found another regular full-time job. But the current client asked me to work as part-time for the next six weeks. They are winding the system and they do not want to hire any new person for that short period. I do not have any problems from the new employer with this arrangement.

Thanks...

if it is a part time job-you definetly can do it. as long as you have a regular full time job. go ahead and make those extra bucks:D

tsc1998, note that if you're changing employers instead of changing client jobs, you may have to follow AC21 directives (like notifying BCIS etc.) and make sure your new job description and salary are similar that specified in labor certification application.

The Job Description Is Same

The job description is the same and the salary is 10% more than what was mentioned in Labor Certification.

My 3rd EAD got approved on 24th May (Saturday) in 46 days and still waiting for the approval notice. RD 04/08/03.

notying tsc is no

mandatory. ac21 doesnot require nor is there a format out there which wants us to do that

dang, lucky guy!!! in this economy 2 million people can't even find one job and this guy's talking about two. good for you bud.
