Two different replies from USCIS. What do you think?

Here are the two replies I recieved from USCIS.

Response to my expedite request (Dated March 02, 2005)

Currently we do not have visas to adjudicate your case.

Response from my senator's liason (Dated March 07, 2005)

it appears as though the case was mistakenly put on hold. I have pulled the file and have sent it to the adjudications area for processing. The applicant should be hearing from this office in approximately 60 more days.

What do you make of these two seemly futile messages?

Anyone in similar situation?

I understand that waiting this long lets you think that every message is futile.
But according to me this time the second message is very very positive.

I can safely predict approval in 30 days. Now since you have waited all these years, 30 days would fly by like nothing.

Looks like you time has come from the second message
