Two conflicting answers from two different NSC CSR's

One said(a month back) Prliminary investigation was over and my 485 will be adjudicated as soon the Processing date gets close to my ND.

Since my 485 ND is close to the Processing Date(and my Priority Date is current) I called NSC again today, this time CSR told me that Security checks are still not over. I am confused on whom to believe.
May be I should take infopass after Processing date go pass my ND.
What do you guys think?
 
Don`t worry about anything now. I caled VSC a month ago and they said my NC with FBI was OK and they (USCIS) was waiting results from another external agency were my GC case was investigated. So, now in 01OCT06 the USCIS director Mrs Gonzales published that 4904 cases aren`t over their jurisdiction and waiting for investigation results, thats makes a lot of sense to me.
 
Security check

My lawyer called the NSC to find out what's going on with my application.
Looks like my 485 was pre-adjudicated and will be approved as soon as the name check is cleared.
So now I am officially in the securty check whole which no one knows how long it's going to take.
 
I am in the same boat. My case was pre-adjudicated and I got stuck with the name check hole for 15+ months now. God only knows how long more!!!

It's been 8 Months since mien was initiated.
Did you contact your senator or FBI? Fist of all is there any way to contact FBI on this?
