Two approval notices?

Last week I had posted here about my approval and stamping. It was approved on 08/20 and I did the PP stamping on 08/29. Later on 09/05 the online staus was changed to "This case is approved on 09/04 . . . . . "

Guess what! today in the mail I received a new approval notice with the approval date of 09/04/03. I don't understand what is happeneing. Is there a possibility that BCIS has mistakenly changed my status to approved instead of PP stamped on 09/04?

Does BCIS chages status after PP stamped?
 
Did u have your passport stamped in NYC ?
