Good Luck

POJ,

People are not paying attention to the processing dates because they mean very little to most of us stuck in this retrogression mess. I am pretty sure that the processing dates will be pulled back once PDs start moving. There is no way they will make the PDs current and keep the dates this far ahead. If they did this, their offices will be filled with inquiries.

info Needed

POJ,

Glad to see you around...of course that means you are still waiting on your GC. Wish you the very best.

I have 2 questions: (try to get answer for a buddy)

(1) If PD is regressed and while waiting to apply for I-485, can H1B extented beyond six years?

(2) Recently senate approved legislation allow spouse and children excempted from EB numerical limitation. Is it reasonable to assume that there won't be any waiting time to bring a spouse while on Green Card. ( Similar to Citizens ?)

Thanks

Jag

In regard to 2, spouse/kids if filed prior to GC are treated as employment green card derivative benefitiary. If after green card then family quota for which date is not current. However, McCain is expected to bring a bill which will give green card holders the same rights as US citizen for sponsoring spouse.
