Hi,

New to the forum(great forum by the way). I applied for NIW on my behalf, september, 05 (RD 9/29\/05. Like most of you, got it transfered from CSC to TSC on 03/23/06. Because I moved at the begining of march I called the CSC to tell them I moved but I guess they didn't properly changed the address and when it was changed to TSC, the notice letter ended up being returned. I called CSC again and told them about the change of address one more time. I finally got the notice from the TSC about the transfer. On may 2, got an email with the followign "On May 1, 2006, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed." So I thought it was an RFE. But then yesterday I got a letter from the CSC postmarked 5/2/05. this letter informed me of my address change that was effective on the date I called the second time (3/30/06) and also informed me again that the case was transfered to the TSC. I'm now confused. Was the email I got that I thought was about RFE actually about this letter I got or will I be getting an actual letter from the TSC about RFE? I tried calling the texas phone listed on my letter (214.281.1423) but it says it's no longer in service! Finally, I've moved many times but I have never filed the AR-11. How important is it to do that? Thanks again and sorry for the long posting!

You must send AR-11 within 10 days once you change your address/relocate apart from calling USCIS to update your address. Better avoid problems dealing with USCIS.

Good luck

I was finally able to get through the 800 number. The person on the phone said that I should still be getting the RFE letter. :( I guess it was just a coincidence that the CSC sent me that letter about the address update right after I got the email.
